EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading sustainability assessment platforms. It evaluates how well sustainability is embedded in an organization, focusing on four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment reviews policies, procedures, implementation, and reporting. This recognition confirms that sustainability at Van Rees goes beyond ambition statements or good intentions: we actively translate our commitments into practical systems, processes, and measurable actions across our organization and supply chains.
Achieving Gold marks an important milestone in our sustainability journey. After earlier Bronze and Silver ratings, with major methodological updates by EcoVadis in between, this result shows that our continuous efforts to strengthen governance, reporting, and risk management are paying off. While we are proud of this achievement, working on more sustainable supply chains is a continuous process. This rating confirms that we are on the right path, but it also challenges us to keep improving, updating our data, and strengthening our approach in the years ahead.
