A safe and healthy cup of tea
We supply tea and other botanical ingredients that fit healthy lifestyles
Plant-based diets have moved far beyond a niche trend and are now a major force reshaping global food supply chains. Tea and herbal infusions, being naturally 100% plant-based, fit seamlessly into these evolving consumer preferences. Tea is widely recognised as a healthy beverage, and its positive effects have been the subject of scientific research for decades. Making sure that these benefits are not compromised by health and safety risks in the supply chain is one of the most important aspects of our services.
Tasting and testing for quality
Our professional tea tasters carefully assess the quality of every product we sell.
All tea we source and sell is evaluated in our own sample rooms by experienced tea tasters. They assess appearance, aroma and flavour, matching teas to customer needs and selecting the right lots for blending.
Growing tea in (sub)tropical climates presents challenges such as insects and weeds, which require careful crop protection. Along the supply chain, preventing cross-contamination is equally important. To safeguard quality and compliance, our products undergo chemical testing at accredited independent laboratories to confirm they meet Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for pesticides. These limits vary by country or region, and meeting them is essential for import.
Our Certificates
We comply with internationally recognised quality, food safety and sustainability standards.
Our blending and packing facilities operate according to internationally recognised quality and food safety standards, and are certified according to schemes recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This means they are regularly audited by independent certification bodies. The external facilities we work with also operate according to recognised food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000-based food safety management systems.
In addition, several of our offices are certified against leading sustainability standards, including Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and Organic certifications, enabling us to serve a wide range of consumer markets across the globe.
