Tea market report 37 – 14 September 2018

In Mombasa, a much livelier auction was witnessed this week with 138,821pkgs on offer compared to 134,802pkgs of last week. The market took an upward trend, gaining as the sale went on, only a few occasions types eased. Currently the weather remains cold and wet, a push towards warmer weather still remains around the corner. In Malawi, the auction continues to be operating at a seasonal low and there is little to report.
