WEEK 45, 2018
Tea market report 5 – 9 November 2018
In Kenya, an increased quantity of 159,866 packages was on offer this week up from last week’s 150,019 packages. The auction quantities remain strong with the year now at an all-time cumulative high. Uptake was good, and teas readily sold at easing rates with only the West of Rift BP1s and PD/D1s managing to hold firm where the Afghan buyers played a big role. In sale 46 and 47 there will be a reduced availability for West of Rift teas.
