Van Rees Ceylon is a leading and reputed exporter of Ceylon tea. Our team of tasters has mastered the complexities of the many different varieties of Ceylon tea. They taste and grade large batches of tea daily to create blends that satisfy diverse taste profiles across different regions. With our nearly perfect purchasing practices, we consistently supply teas that meet high standards at stable and competitive prices, despite the volatile market conditions of the robust Colombo auctions.

Our state-of-the-art blending facility enables us to supply safe and hygienically blended teas that are consistent and homogeneous. We offer tea in bulk, value-added teas in tea bags, and various consumer packets, including private label solutions tailored to individual needs. Our experience and expertise allow us to seamlessly provide bespoke solutions.
For decades, we have proudly served some of the world’s largest tea packers. We also take pride in collaborating with small and medium niche segment players, offering special efforts to curate their specific requirements.
Main types of teas and packaging
We specialise in Black, Green, flavored, fruit and herbal, and other specialty teas in both bulk and consumer packs.
Our packaging options range widely, including tea bags, loose teas in foil pouches, metallic cans, plastic jars, cardboard boxes, and bulk teas in corrugated cartons and paper sacks.

To craft distinctive packaging that stands out in the market, we partner with a network of specialty packaging manufacturers and creative designers. This process begins with brand conception and design which continues through to the creation of the perfect blend.
