Tea market report 19 – 23 September 2022
Good and improved general demand prevailed this week in Mombasa which had 185k, similar to last week’s offerings. Absorption was improved and there were 55K pkgs vs 60k pkgs last week. The All Avg hammer for gained by a cent to close at $2.35h. Flavory EoR BP1’s met improved demand. The below best types opened easier, but the tempo changed when a buyer showed more vigor competing for these types. Fresher WoR BP1’s met improved interest. .
